Henry Winkler is an accomplished actor, comedian, director, and producer, known for his role as Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli in the iconic American sitcom, "Happy Days". Born on October 30, 1945, in New York City, Winkler's portrayal of the leather-clad heartthrob "The Fonz" earned him widespread acclaim and two Golden Globe Awards. He was also nominated for three Emmy Awards during his ten-year stint on "Happy Days", from 1974 to 1984.

Winkler has not only made his mark as an actor but also ventured into directing and producing. He directed several episodes of "Happy Days" and produced television series like "MacGyver" and "Sightings".

Winkler's talent spans beyond television as well. He is an accomplished author and advocate for children's education, co-authoring a series of books titled "Hank Zipzer: The World's Greatest Underachiever". The series, inspired by Winkler's own struggle with dyslexia, has been very successful, leading to a follow-up series, "Here's Hank".

Throughout his career, Henry Winkler has become renowned for his versatility and commitment. Whether on-screen, behind the camera, or on the page, his work has left a significant impact on audiences worldwide, establishing him as a cherished figure in the world of entertainment.

As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, Winkler continues to work in the industry, captivating new generations of viewers with his performances. His recent roles include acting in the critically acclaimed HBO series "Barry", for which he won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 2018.
