Larry Bird, born on December 7, 1956, in West Baden Springs, Indiana, is a legendary former professional basketball player, coach, and executive. Widely regarded as one of the greatest basketball players of all time, Bird spent his entire 13-year playing career (1979-1992) with the Boston Celtics.
