Faye Marlowe is an American actress, known for her roles in classic films of the mid-20th century. Born on October 13, 1926, in Boston, Massachusetts, Marlowe entered the world of Hollywood in the 1940s.

Marlowe's film debut was in 1945 in the film "Hangover Square," a thriller in which she co-starred with Laird Cregar and Linda Darnell. Her performance in this movie drew critical attention and established her as a talented and versatile actress.

In the following years, Marlowe appeared in a number of other films, including "A Bell for Adano" (1945), "The Spider" (1945), "Dragonwyck" (1946), and "Nightmare Alley" (1947). Her performances in these films further cemented her reputation as a solid actress with a flair for dramatic roles.

One of her most memorable roles was in "Nightmare Alley," in which she starred alongside Tyrone Power and Joan Blondell. In the film, Marlowe portrayed the character of Molly, an authentic and sensitive woman trapped in the bleak world of carnival life.

Despite her promising career in the 1940s, Marlowe stepped away from Hollywood in the 1950s. Her last credited film appearance was in the war drama "Sands of Iwo Jima" (1949), where she worked with John Wayne.

Although Marlowe's time in Hollywood was relatively brief, she left a lasting impact with her memorable performances. Today, she is recognized for her contribution to classic Hollywood cinema, and her performances continue to be enjoyed by fans of vintage films
