One of Hollywood’s most talented leading actress’s Salma Hayek has just revealed she was battling Covid-19 in the early days of the Pandemic, Star of Studio 54, Ugly Betty, The Hitman’s Bodyguard said she spent seven weeks in isolation in her London Mansion that she shares with her husband who is CEO of Kering and their 13-year-old daughter, Valentina.
At one stage she was placed on oxygen and her doctor begged her to go to the hospital as it was so bad, but 54-year-old Hayek said “No thank you, I would rather die at home” she still has not fully regained her energy. Hayek chose to keep this quite until now.
She is not the only celebrity to reveal a battle with Covid-19, Tom Hanks and his wife Rita tested positive to Covid-19 when Hanks was in Australia shooting the upcoming biographical drama about Elvis Presley which is directed by Baz Luhrmann
In April she returned to work to shoot Ridley Scott’s “House of Gucci,” Hayek plays a clairvoyant who was convicted of helping Patrizia Reggiani (played by Lady gaga) orchestrate the 1995 killing of her ex-husband Maurizio Gucci (portrayed by Adam Driver), an heir to the Gucci Empire.
