Scottie Pippen is a retired American professional basketball player who is widely regarded as one of the greatest small forwards in NBA history. Born on September 25, 1965, in Hamburg, Arkansas, Pippen played college basketball at the University of Central Arkansas before being drafted by the Seattle Supersonics in the 1987 NBA Draft. He was then traded to the Chicago Bulls, where he would spend the majority of his illustrious career.

Pippen is best known for his time with the Chicago Bulls, where he played alongside the legendary Michael Jordan. Together, they formed one of the most dominant duos in NBA history, leading the Bulls to six NBA championships in the 1990s. Pippen was a versatile player, known for his all-around skills, including scoring, rebounding, playmaking, and defensive prowess. He was a key component of the Bulls' success during their championship runs, and his contributions were instrumental in the team's dominance during that era.

During his 17-year career, Pippen was a seven-time NBA All-Star, an NBA All-Star Game MVP (1994), and a three-time All-NBA First Team selection. He was also named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team eight times, showcasing his exceptional defensive abilities. In 1996, he was selected as one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History.

Apart from his success in the NBA, Pippen was also a member of the iconic 1992 United States men's Olympic basketball team, known as the "Dream Team." This team, featuring some of the greatest basketball players of all time, dominated the competition and won the gold medal at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Pippen would go on to win another Olympic gold medal in 1996.

Since retiring from professional basketball, Pippen has been involved in various endeavours, including coaching, broadcasting, and entrepreneurship. His impact on the game of basketball is still felt today, and his legacy as one of the all-time greats remains secure
