As most of you probably know I am just a one man show, I have signings with celebrities happening all over the world and this is not really a job for me, it’s something fun that I get to wake up and do each day.
Most of the memorabilia that I buy I do form an emotional attachment to as every piece is unique and has a story behind it. Last night I sold a signed Kobe Bryant basketball to a massive fan of Kobe. Authentic Kobe Bryant memorabilia is not cheap and sadly there are many fakes now on the market trying to take advantage of Fans of the late great Kobe Bryant. I will only ever buy Kobe Bryant memorabilia that has been authenticated by either Beckett Authentication, James Spence Authentication, PSA, Panini and Upper Deck, in my opinion and I am sure many of my peers would agree with me if it’s not authenticated by any of those companies then it’s a high chance it would be fake.
I purchased this ball last year and sold it to a client in South Australia this week who is happy to have this piece. I must admit I am sad to see it go as it’s been sitting in a nice display case in my office. I had the Perspex case designed for it with the photo of Kobe in the background with a beautiful gold plaque with all of Kobe’s career statistics. This item also came with a piece of Kobe’s match worn warm up jersey which is very special.
Authentic Kobe Bryant memorabilia is one of the best investments you can make when buying memorabilia, I still have a beautifully framed signed Kobe Bryant jersey for sale.
